Join us for the first work party of the Spring. MVTC Will host two volunteer events on the Wolf Creek Trail # 527. This lovely early-season hike accesses the Gardner meadows and Mt. Gardner for late-season skiers.
This work party will aim to clear fallen logs and cut back brush that has grown since the forest canopy opened after the fire. Volunteers will work on the first few miles of trail so that Forest Service crews can hit the ground running when they start in May.
Type of Work: Brushing and Wilderness logout, brushing, and tread improvements.
MVTC will provide Tools, Safety Equipment, and light refreshments. Please meet at the trailhead at 9:00 AM. We will aim to be back at the cars by 3:00 at the latest.
