Join MVTC staff to maintain the Scatter Creek Trail up Twisp River Drainge! This moderate-length out-and-back trail accesses a stunning lake and has become incredibly brushy after the 2018 Crescent Mountain Fire. The focus of these two days of work is to clear brush from the trail corridor and improve the trail surface for the first two miles to the Wilderness boundary. If time and energy allow, we may work beyond, but we anticipate the total round-trip hiking distance being ~4 miles or less.
Each day, we will meet at the trailhead at 9:00 and aim to return to the cars by 2:30 pm at the latest. Reach out if you would like to coordinate a carpool from Twisp. If you can only join for part of the day, that's fine, too. We'd still appreciate the help clearing ceanothus!
