Autumn is Here, Bridge Building With Steadfast Volunteers

Here at MVTC, we have just wrapped up a footlog bridge project with the help of many great volunteers who wanted to give back to our public lands and help us improve local trails around the Methow District.

The footlog spans 40 feet over State Creek and runs parallel to a stock ford. In the spring and early summer, the bridge will make the creek crossing much more enjoyable and safer.

This bridge work was part of our broader effort this season to give attention to the Copper Creek trail leading up towards Copper Pass. MVTC and WTA will continue to put in tread work further up the trail until the snow flies.
